What major historical events do you remember?
January 1986. I was a senior in high school and I homeschooled. I was at my desk working on lessons and had my radio on to listen to the launch of the Challenger. My mom had been a teacher and was thrilled that Christa McAuliffe was on the flight. I sat in stunned silence as the radio announcer tried to explain the explosion and not break down.
