From pine trees and white snow to palm trees and white beaches

I grew up on the shores of lake Ontario in western New York and went to college at the opposite end of the earth (or so I thought at the time) in the hot and humid Gulf Breeze.  College was one of my favorite times in life. I met my husband there and lifelong friends that I am still close to after 33 years.
