One of the biggest recent risks was accepting a promotion and relocating my entire family to Washington State last year.  The pros: love the weather here, love having no state income tax, love the access to so many different things. Cons: the out of control retail crime ruined the new job.  It was a lopsided battle and no one sent in the calvary
