As you get older, you realized “stuff” doesn’t amount to much. It’s holding your loved ones and friends and church family most dear.
But I do have a handful of items with deep sentimental value: the last piece of mail my father in law addressed to us before he passed, a very very old handpainted Tiffany lamp my husband’s grandfather gave to his grandmother for a wedding anniversary in the late 60’s, and a Bible that was my grandmother’s that still has very tiny yellow flowers she dried and pressed between the pages.
