Let It Go!
Describe one positive change you have made in your life. This is a great prompt! One of the best positive changes I have made is to let go: let go of some grudges that were only continuing to hurt me, let go of negative thoughts that were ruining my perspective, let go of some ofContinue reading “Let It Go!”
Cleaning (yes, you read that right)
What’s the most fun way to exercise? For me, cleaning is one of my favorite physical activities . I crank the music up loud and go to it. I find the mopping, vacuuming, sweeping therapeutic and cleaning clears my mind and helps me stretch.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
What job would you do for free? I am a diehard MLB fan and love baseball. I would gladly be a sports announcer and do live play by play for free! “He leaps over the wall and makes the catch.”. 🙂
Splash
What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most? The swimming sprint relays. From the splash of the first competitor hitting the water, the intensity and passion of the remaining swimmers as they cheer, and admiring the precision when each one knows exactly when to enter the race.
I long for a neighborhood like Mayberry
How would you improve your community? This post makes me think of the current country song that says life would straighten out and slow on down if every town had a Mamaw’s house. Instead of barricading ourselves in each night behind heavy doors, it would be awesome to have screen doors again where you couldContinue reading “I long for a neighborhood like Mayberry”
Don’t be afraid of change and the unknown
How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic? It is amazing to me after two years the long term impact the pandemic has had on so many facets of life from work, side hustles, how we worship and what became “essential “. For me it was that worshipping God isContinue reading “Don’t be afraid of change and the unknown”
