“Celebrating the Coming Savior”

“A Story Celebrating the Coming Savior”

Our neighbors tell the Christmas story using large pieces beginning with an empty stable, manger and star. Follow along as I will post the additions to the story!

Isaiah 9:6 states that “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”

I Survived 😁

What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?

Number one….that I survived.  2024 was one of the hardest years I have ever gone through: the death of my sister, and my father in law, my husband’s unemployment for most of the year.  But the start of 2025 finds my husband with a wonderful new job, the release of my first self-published book, all our kids employed, and the knowledge to just keep going.

SOOOO many places on could go with this!!!

If you are talking literally….no. way out here in western Washington, it’s basically giant size slugs, an occasional fox.

If you are talking figuratively, yes. Especially on I-5 during the rush hour commute!

Happy Friday everyone!

“12 Days of Christmas Chaos” – a delightful, humorous, joyous holiday tale is now available on Amazon!

We all have those Christmases where things don’t quite go to plan; where the gingerbread house collapses, the lights tangle, or the Christmas cards mysteriously vanish. It’s in those moments of delightful imperfection that the true magic of Christmas often shines through. The children in this story, with their well-intentioned but often misfiring plans, perfectly embody this spirit. I hope their adventures resonate with young readers and remind them that the most cherished Christmas memories are often the ones that are a little bit wonky, a little bit messy, and a whole lot of fun. This book is a celebration of those imperfectly perfect moments – the ones that make our Christmases truly unforgettable. I hope it brings a smile to your face and warms your heart this holiday season.
