Two words:  “Thank You”

What’s something you believe everyone should know.

Saying thank you or showing appreciation are lost arts anymore. I have watched people in line for fast food talking non stop on their phones, the worker hands them the order, the customer basically snatches it and runs without so much as a nod or smile of thanks. I see it in grocery checkout lines.  The same exact behavior towards cashiers.

It’s two simple words…thank you.

My Father in law

Describe a family member.

It is almost the one year anniversary of my father in law’s sudden passing.  Hard to believe. He was a man among men.  Godly, loyal, knew a little something about everything and family and church meant the world to him.  He worked for MNDOT for his entire 40 year career. Was the founding member of a Baptist Church.  Served in Iran and he could tell the best Ole and Lena jokes. If you’re a Minnesotan you’ll understand. The world is not the same without him.

Canning Recipes – 5 Tried and True

I was taught how to can by my mom and grandma and loved learning how to take fresh vegetables and turn them into colorful jars of art. I still love canning to this day. Volume 2 of my recipe series has 5 tried and true canning recipes plus one bonus recipe. It is now available on Etsy for download for just $1.25 and soon to be available on Amazon Kindle (free with an Amazon Unlimited Subscription).

Being the CEO, CFO of my own business/future

What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?

The only career path I truly am interested in following is what gets me to owning/operating my own home-based business.  My husband and I currently have two we are getting off the ground. I just have no desire to work for someone else anymore and my hard work and loyalty only serves their dreams/pursuits
