What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today? My intangible oldest things are my smile and positive attitude. I strive to have those on every day no matter what. My tangible thing is a faux pearl necklace that was my husband’s grandmother’s. She gave it to me and told me “it’s not real but will stillContinue reading “The tangible and intangible”

To be balanced, both!
Are you a leader or a follower? I have found that to be truly effective I have to be both. In following the verses in the Bible on humility, compassion, grace and patience, I am a better leader to my kids and in my community. In following other successful business leaders and their example ofContinue reading “To be balanced, both!”
A berry good prompt 😁
List your top 5 favorite fruits. Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, cherries, and blueberries. Actually I love eating just about any fruit except for kiwi. Sorry kiwi. It’s not you, it’s me. We’ll just have to start seeing other produce.
Focus
What’s one small improvement you can make in your life? The improvements I am trying to make can be summed up with one word: Focus. Focus on reading 30 minutes a day, focus on saying no more often so I have time with family, focus on the positive around me and not the negative.

What public figure do you disagree with the most? Wikipedia defines a public figure as a person who has achieved fame, prominence, or notoriety within a society. When you observe today’s “public figures” I ignore most of them. The level of entitlement, lack of humility and grace, the absence of civility is astounding. Most ofContinue reading “To be honest….I ignore most of them”
A very timely question…
What is your career plan? This prompt was a very timely one considering I just completed a cross country relocation to be a store manager. And my husband got the long awaited news yesterday his application to the Washington bar was approved! But better than all of this is as a mom, is knowing myContinue reading “A very timely question…”
Tim Hawkins – The memory still makes me laugh
What was the last live performance you saw? Just before we moved from Colorado our entire family got to see Comedian Tim Hawkins live. His comedic roast of the city of Boulder and the audience’s rousing singing of “Sweet Caroline” and “YMCA” will be memories we won’t forget.
