My husband had just finished law school and had sat for the bar exam. Then the Covid lockdowns hit. He missed out on the pomp and ceremony of his swearing in ceremony and having his parents present. It was reduced to standing against a plain colored wall in his bedroom via Zoom.

My husband and I get rather distressed when we reflect on the things over the years that we allowed to consume our time and distract us from God, our family, the church, etc. The pendulum of “No” has really swung hard back the other direction and there are way more “no’s” now than “yes”.
