If I never have to go through a time like that again, I will be eternally grateful. I am astounded by how much loss there was. There was a loss of life. There was a loss of businesses and education. There was a loss of income. There was also a loss of in person worshipContinue reading “What an interesting era to have navigated…the word that comes to mind is LOSS.”

A day in the life of….
My typical morming: “Who let the dogs out” Let the dog, bring the dog back in. Let the dog out, bring the dog back in. “Where’s my coffee? Need the caffeine! A lot of prayer. Let me get through the day. Keep my husband and kids safe.
Their life experiences
I feel what makes a person most unique is their life experiences. Where they grew up, their ancestry, favorite childhood memories, family traditions.
Not generally a fan of having things named after people….
Overall, I am not a fan of having things named after people, especially anyone from Hollywood, the sports realm, etc. It’s a concept that’s way overdone. Technology has made it harder
How has technology changed your job? Although it seems fun and amazing to have new cars with infotainment, touch screens, DVR’s in front of every seat, and other gadgets, it makes it near impossible to diagnose when one part of the system goes black. Instead of good old spark plug wires, carburetors, now it’s fuseContinue reading “Technology has made it harder”
Unfortunately, not as much as I want to or need to
I have historically been a person that finds it hard to say no. I love helping others. Over the years, I have learned a valuable lesson. It is a fine line between being generous with my time for others and holding back to help myself.
Be like Samantha on “Bewitched”
I would love to be like Samantha on the old show “Bewitched.” I wish I could twitch my nose. Then, I could change anything I wanted….twitch my nose and groceries appear. twitch my nose and the house is clean, laundry is done and folded. twitch my nose and traffic clears.
