What notable things happened today? After a 6 month long application process, my husband’s admission to the Washington State Bar was approved and he will perform the Oath of Attorney today. As of 4 pm PST he will be admitted in two states and I could not be more proud.

What are you passionate about? It was interesting researching the definition of passion…. fervor, ardor, enthusiasm, strong emotion that is deeply stirring.  When defined like this, my passions are spending time with my husband, supporting my children, my faith in God, and my art.

What is your favorite season of year? Why? Fall is my fabulous favorite season.  The air turns fresh and crisp and cool.  It’s harvest season, hayride time, bundle up in a sweater season.  And nature is a wonderland of color.

What’s the one luxury you can’t live without? Freedom is my paramount luxury. My other ones exist because of it: freedom to worship openly, freedom to commute to the job of my choice each day, freedom to travel with my family anywhere we choose.

If humans had taglines, what would yours be? “My productivity and positive outlook powered by coffee.”

What are the most important things needed to live a good life? My list: a faith in God as He is who I turn to no matter the situation, integrity, a sense of humor, a spirit of contentment that what I own is enough, the ability to read.

Who do you spend the most time with? Hands down my husband of 31 years. No contest.

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be? I am pretty sure if I had a new name it would have to be one associated with coffee. Miss Arabica, Miss Espresso, Odyssey, or Lucy Latte 😂
