I am proud to be a believer. I have a God who is merciful to me each day. I don’t deserve it, yet I receive His mercy. I am proud of my husband. The last two years were brutal for him, yet he persevered in the midst of deep hardship. I am proud of myContinue reading “My faith and my family”

A fun fact to amuse you…
I am really tall! But here’s a fun fact! In 9th grade, I was actually one of the shortest people in my class. I grew 4 inches the summer after my 9th grade year and didn’t stop growing until I was 22. And here we are! 🙂
Ummm what’s a lazy day?
In the true sense of the word, I do not have lazy days where I lounge around in my pj’s doing nothing. There is always something to do. However, I do take time to “get away” from work and chores to decompress, either a walk or nature photography or Bible reading on the back deckContinue reading “Ummm what’s a lazy day?”
My father in law, no contest
I have been blessed to have in-laws who were two of my best friends. I don’t have any “evil” in-law jokes or stories. My father in law, Sid, was an example of success. Some days it is more fun to sit and drink a cup of coffee. It’s more enjoyable to think about doing them thanContinue reading “I could put off answering this prompt… :-)”
MMMM….Coffee
I started working when I was 12. One of my first jobs was working on a dairy farm in upstate New York. I worked there every summer, feeding calves, cleaning the milking equipment, sweeping the barns. The summer I was 14 and having breakfast with the farm crew and I had my first cup ofContinue reading “MMMM….Coffee”
