Dogs or cats?

As of a few short weeks ago, I had both and adored both species equally. We had two adopted “senior” cats and an adopted Chocolate Lab named Maximus. We lost one of the cats to renal failure and our beloved loyal protector and friend Max passed away just a few weeks ago from cancer and heart failure. Our wonderful cat Oliver remains, a great lap cuddler, companion.

  Thank you very much for those kind words. Our cat that passed was 20 years old. He was around for most of my youngest son’s life! Max was the only dog we have ever had. Definitely they are forever family!
