What are your favorite types of foods? I love pasta. All of it! My favorite pasta dish I make at home has rigatoni noodles, with ground Italian sausage, a can of tomato sauce mixed with white Alfredo sauce. Simple but divine.

I only run for coffee ☕ 🤣
How often do you walk or run? I used to run track and field in high school. A coach convinced me to because I was so tall and had long legs. I did hurdles and the mile and two mile. I hated it. I joke with people that the only thing I run for nowContinue reading “I only run for coffee ☕ 🤣”
Taking a break from active leadership, remaining a passive leader
Do you see yourself as a leader? Since college, I have always been the leader. Church groups, community organizations, political campaigns. Most of my recent years have been in retail leadership and to be honest, drained me. I am stepping back from active leadership roles for now, and focusing on my leadership as a momContinue reading “Taking a break from active leadership, remaining a passive leader”
JOY
What’s your favorite word? Joy. In Sunday School a long time ago I learned an acronym for Joy. Jesus, Others and You. Put the Lord first, help and be kind to others and then take care of me. No matter the circumstance, I can be joyful for what I have
Being thankful, celebrating, side hustles

Describe your ideal week. My ideal week would be to spend 7 days at a bed and breakfast in the mountains and “unplug.’. Unplug from my devices, constant emails, the noise and the news. And plug in to nature, rest, quiet, conversation and some fishing.
Para Olympic athletes
Name the professional athletes you respect the most and why. To be honest most athletes I don’t pay attention to anymore. The majority of them are entitled, narcissist and otherwise annoying. Especially when they are better paid than our veterans. If I had to pick a group of athletes it would be para Olympic athletes. Continue reading “Para Olympic athletes”
Out and about in nature with my photography
How do you relax? When I need a mental refresh, some alone time or need to decompress, I grab my camera and head outside to enjoy nature and photojournal. I soak in the quiet, the beauty that surrounds us. Nature doesn’t complain, whine or argue. 🤣. Free therapy every time.
I would surely, for sure, give up the word sure, I’m sure of it 🤣
If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be? I would have to say the word sure. I overuse it for too many things especially at work with my employees when I am physically and mentally done. It’s just easier to say sure and avoid further conversation orContinue reading “I would surely, for sure, give up the word sure, I’m sure of it 🤣”
