I work in a very male-dominated work environment (as in I am the only female with alot of men). I would love to meet Margaret Thatcher and her how she handled it with such humor and wit and grace and please give me some advice! 🙂

My view…
I like to think of “instincts” more as promptings by the Holy Spirit to do this or not to do that…. And I have learned the hard way I should have listened to those inner promptings.
The ballots are in…December
The votes are counted, the ballots are in (all one of them ha ha)…. The winner is December. Where the world even for the briefest of moments focuses on giving, generosity and others. Christmas music is blaring, lights are everywhere, treats in the office breakrooms. I love December and hold onto the idea that forContinue reading “The ballots are in…December”
Does my house count?
My favorite place is home! 🙂 I love my neighborhood, my backyard, being home. Other than that, my other favorite places are my church and a hiking trail near my house called the Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail. Saying No to News Headlines
I am a news junkie. I love scrolling through headlines. I did that right after I turned off my alarm. I did it before opening my Bible verse of the day. Shame on me. Because depending upon what headline I read, it could cause anxiety or a negative outlook right out of the gate. InsteadContinue reading “Saying No to News Headlines”
Bob Dole
Shortly after my husband I were married, we had the privilege of attending a political event that featured several candidates running for the presidential nomination that year. It was at the Embassy Suites in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We were able to shake hands, greet and get photos with a few of them. I will neverContinue reading “Bob Dole”
